Luke Johnson, a master innovator in the art of transitions and visual appeal, creates seamless routines and cutting edge dances that have a cinematic energy, keeping you on the edge dances and wanting more and more. Best known for his intricate dance choreography, Luke is one of the industry’s revolutionizing the standard of excellence while modernizing movement and energy in every routine.

Choreographing since he was 20, Luke’s career blasted off 5 years ago when he helped the Maryland Twisters F5 attain “World Champion” status with his innovative dance choreography. “It’s funny how, still to this day, I hear people say that F5 ‘Freak-show Dance’ is their favorite dance to date.” Now at 30, with 8 other world medals under his belt, Luke travels the world working with many of the industry’s leading teams, keeping the bar set high, and helping over 20 programs get to Cheerleading Worlds 2009! Luke has worked with many top cheerleading programs in the US and across the world, such as Maryland Twisters, Ace of Alabama, California All-stars, Arizona Power Extreme, Epic All-stars, Cheer Extreme, Illinois Cheer Company, Pro Cheer Atlanta, Platinum Elite and Total Elite (New Zealand) to name a few. “I’m humbled by the intensity this sport has in effecting people’s lives and in that, I find great inspiration from the athletes themselves. I feed off their energy and passion for the same amazing sport that so graciously allows me to be here, doing what I love everyday!”

To Luke, the sport of cheerleading is much more than a job…It’s a calling.
